What is Scholarship by School?
Scholarship by Darsgah Islami Society for students till class 12th.
Darsgah Islami Primary School and Inter College Mughalpura has a large number of children whose parents are unable to meet the educational expenses of their children and Darsgah receives a large number of fee waiver applications. If the fees of such a large number of students are waived, it will put a financial burden on the institution and it becomes difficult for us to pay the reasonable salary to our teachers/non-teaching staff and meet other recurring expenses.
In today’s era of high cost of living, how our teachers/staff manage to meet both ends meet in a meagre salary of 10-15 thousand per month, is a matter of concern to us all.
We are unable to pay handsome salaries as our fee structure is very low. Majority of students cannot afford if there is steep hike in the fees. This due to the fact that the financial condition of Muslims in Faizabad is generally very poor. Most of them have small businesses, petty shops, stalls, carts etc.
To help such poor students, the society has instituted a Scholarship Scheme in the memory of the founders of this school, from April 2023. Earlier the same scheme was run as Sponsorship Scheme.
The rate of Scholarship will be as follows.

Proposed number of scholarship in each group: 100. Total Budget: 23 lakh.
Note: Since the students of class 9 to 12 also get scholarship from the Central Government, if the government scholarship is also received by students, the amount received from the society has to be returned.
These scholarships will be paid to the students in two instalments. First instalment is paid after first semester results (in November or December) and second after annual examination (before 31st March). Money will be transferred directly to the bank account of students or their guardian-father/mother. Cash will not be given under any circumstances.
Procedure for selecting and prioritizing scholarship to students
- First of all, those orphan students whose financial condition is not good will be selected.
- After that, the children of those who deserve Zakat will be selected.
- Next such poor students will be selected who, though not eligible for of Zakat, are unable to afford their educational expenses. And have good academic record.
Applications from students will be taken online only. After that, extensive investigation with regard to disclosures made in the application form will be done through different sources to ascertain factual condition of the applicants, before finalizing scholarship to any applicant.
The result of the previous academic year and their attendance in the class will also be considered for all the scholarship recipients. In case of very poor results (getting less than 50% marks) and less than 70% attendance, the scholarship will not be sanctioned / if sanctioned, it would be discontinued midway.

We appeal to the well-wishers of Ummah to help us with their zakat, sadaqaat etc. in this charity and become mustahaq of sadaqa-e-jariyah. May Allah reward you bountifully in both the worlds. Adopt a child and let him prosper through education. Your generous contribution would bring tremendous change in the educational condition of the Ummah, in shaa Allaah.

درسگاہ اسلامی سوسائٹی کے ذریعہ انٹردرجات تک کے طلباء کے لئے وظائف درسگاہ اسلامی پرائمری اسکول اور انٹر کالج مغلپورہ میں پڑھنے والے بچوں میں کثیر تعداد ایسے بچوں کی ہوتی ہے جن کے والدین اپنے بچوں کے تعلیمی اخراجات نہیں پورے کر پاتے اور درسگاہ کے پاس بڑی تعداد میں فیس معافی کی درخواستیں موصول ہوتی ہیں۔ اگر اتنی بڑی تعداد میں طلباء کی فیس معاف کر دی جائے تو درسگاہ پر مالی بوجھ پڑتا ہے اور اساتذہ و دیگر ملازمین کو فی زمانہ معقول تنخواہ دینا مشکل ہو جاتا ہے۔ آج کے دور میں دس پندرہ ہزار روپئے ماہانہ کی تنخواہ میں ہمارے اساتذہ کس طرح اپنا گھر چلاتے ہیں یہ وہی جانتے ہیں۔ درسگاہ میں ماہانہ فیس بہت کم ہے اس لئے تنخواہیں بھی کم دی جارہی ہیں۔ اگر فیس میں زیادہ اضافہ کیا جاتا ہے تو طلباء کی اکثریت اسے برداشت نہیں کر سکتی کیونکہ فیض آباد میں مسلمانوں کی مالی حالت عام طور پر خراب ہے۔ زیادہ تر کے پاس معمولی کاروبار، چھوٹی موٹی دوکان، ٹھیلہ، ریڑھی وغیرہ ہیں۔ غریب طلباہ کی مدد کے لئے درسگاہ نے اس سال سے وظیفہ اسکیم کا آغاز کیا ہے جس کی شرح اس طرح ہوگی۔ درجات نرسری تا5 کے طلبا کو 5000روپئے سالانہ 100طلباء کو (محمد بشیر اسکالرشپ) درجات6سے8تک کے طلبا کو 8000روپئے سالانہ 100طلباء کو (محمد اسحٰق اسکالرشپ) درجات9سے12تک کے طلبا کو 10000روپئے سالانہ 100طلباء کو (محمد رفیق اسکالرشپ) ہر زمرے میں ایک ایک سو طلباء کو وظیفہ دینے کی تجویز ہے جس کا بجٹ 23لاکھ روپئے ہے۔ جو آپ اہل خیر حضرات کے تعاون سے ہی ممکن ہے درسگاہ اسلامی سوسائٹی کے پاس کو مستقل بجٹ نہیں۔ مخیر حضرات کے تعاون سے ہی اس اسکیم کو عملی جامہ پہنایا جا سکتا ہے۔ ایک فرد ایک بچہ کا ذمہ لے لے تو بھی یہ کام صرف تین سو افراد کے تعاون سے ممکن ہو سکتا ہے۔ نوٹ: چونکہ درجات 9تا12کے طلباء کو مرکزی سرکار سے بھی وظیفہ ملتا ہے اس لئے اگر سرکاری وظیفہ آتا ہے تو درسگاہ سے ملی رقم واپس کرنی ہوگی۔ یہ وظائف طلباء کو دو قسطوں میں ادا کئے جائیں گے۔ پہلی قسط ششماہی کے رزلٹ کے بعد(نومبر یا دسمبر میں) اور دوسری سالانہ امتحان کے بعد (31مارچ سے پہلے) رقم سیدھے طلباء یا ان کے سرپرست والد/والدہ کے بینک اکاؤنٹ میں منتقل کی جائے گی۔ کسی بھی حال میں نقد نہیں دی جائے گی۔
